Noise Protection

Leipzig/Halle Airport makes various and numerous efforts to limit aircraft noise for its neighbours to an acceptable level. These efforts are constantly updated and expanded to the degree that technological and transport possibilities allow.

A special package of measures was created during the development of a cargo hub. This is meant to protect the nighttime peace of those living in the area to the best possible degree. The package includes both active and passive noise protection measures.
