Environmental Protection

Knowing our responsibilities to our neighbours on the one hand, and the importance of the airport as an economic and developmental driving force in the region on the other hand, the airport takes great pains, even in the planning stages of its expansion program, to maintain a balanced relationship between ecological and economic interests.

That is, however, not enough. Environmental protection is, and remains an important cornerstone of the business philosophy of Leipzig/Halle Airport.
