Safety Management System

The Leipzig/Halle Airport disposes of a Safety Management System (SMS) according to the regulations of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The goal of the SMS is to prevent accidents and incidents by recognizing danger, analyzing and reducing risks as well as implementing countermeasures and the monitoring of all processes.

The basic principles of handling questions in regards to safety are thereby converted to the highly proactive imprinting. Therefore the integrations of all employees and partners of the airport is indispensable.
