Unaccompanied minors
Children travelling alone will receive special care from the airline staff. Please enquire about all details and charges regarding the care of unaccompanied minors when booking a flight.
Departure
Your child must be at least 5 years old in order to travel unaccompanied (your travel agency or airline will provide you with detailed information). This information must be included in your travel documents. Parents will entrust their child to the airline staff after check-in. The airline staff will look after your child during the waiting time before departure, during the flight and after arriving at the destination airport.
Meeting your child
After baggage reclaim at the destination airport, your child must be met by a relative or friend. The person designated to meet the child is required to identify him-/herself by means of address and his/her particulars.
This means your child can travel safely alone.
