Transit and stopover

If Leipzig/Halle Airport is a stopover for your flight, the airline or handling company staff will lead you into the transit lounge where you may wait for your connecting flight.

Baggage reclaim

If you are travelling from a non-Schengen state, you need to go to the passport check in the arrivals hall. Afterwards you may reclaim your luggage. The displays above the conveyor belts indicate the flight number and the origin of the flight to assist you in finding your luggage. If necessary, you then head to the customs check, after which you will directly get to the arrivals area of Terminal B.

You will find information on the Schengen Agreement and a list of its members on the website of the Federal Foreign Office.

Baggage tracing

If you cannot find your luggage or it has been damaged, please ask at the handling company’s baggage tracing desk in the arrival hall.
