Car parks, multi-storey car park
Around 5,800 parking places are available at Leipzig/Halle Airport - more than 2,000 of these are in the multi-storey car park.
A parking guidance system at the airport provides information as to the location and status of the car parks.
Parking Services is located in the arrivals area of Terminal B and is open 24 hours.

Multi-storey car park
More than 2,000 parking places are available on six levels. The check-in area or mall can be reached from the second level. You can park for up to 20 minutes in the multi-storey car park to load and unload passengers or baggage.
Please note that the multi-storey car park’s maximum clearance is 1.90 metres. The ADAC recommends the airport’s multi-storey car park.
Short-term parking
Passengers and visitors may use short-term parking areas P1, P3, and P11 (in front of the Central Check-in) as well as the driveway (Terminal B).
You may also stop briefly on the access bridge under the central check-in area in order to load or unload.
Another option is to follow the signs for “Check-In” or “Abflug/Departure”. These lead to the multi-storey car park. You may park here for up to 20 minutes free of charge. The check-in area and mall are located on level 2.
Long-term parking
Three long-term car parks are available at Leipzig/Halle Airport. They are car parks P2, P4 and P20*.
A free shuttle service operates between these car parks and the Central Terminal/Check-In (departures) and Terminal B (arrivals).

Handicapped parking
Designated parking spaces reserved for the handicapped are available in the multi-storey car park. These are located directly next to the stairways which are equipped with lifts. On the level 2, six passageways lead directly to the check-in area and Mall.
There are also handicapped parking spaces available in car park P1 across from Terminal B (arrivals).
Further parking spaces are located in the first row of car park P2.
Severely handicapped people with an “aG”, “H” and “Bl” in their official identification card or “European Disabled Persons’ Parking Card” receive an exit ticket free-of-charge upon returning to or visiting the airport.
Parking Services staff will give you this exit ticket upon presentation of your identification card. Parking Services can be found in the arrivals area of Terminal B.

Free car park shuttle
A free shuttle bus operates between car parks P2, P4 and P20* and the Central Terminal/Check-In (departures) and Terminal B (arrivals).
Calling buttons are installed in the car parks’ waiting shelters. The shuttle bus can be called (ordered) using these. The transfer/waiting time can be about 30 minutes depending on the starting location.

Free parking reservation

Of course, our parking facilities can also be used without a reservation providing that they are not already occupied.
